Memories of Rosa Maria
The play ‘Memórias de Rosa Maria’ is a poetic and comedic exploration of the world of memories. It combines techniques from mask theatre, clowning and physical theatre with elements of contemporary circus and dance. Aimed at family audiences, it tells the story of Rosa Maria, a 115-year-old retired flamenco dancer, who confronts her memories. The story unfolds to the accompaniment of live music by flamenco guitarist Jose Pedro Lima.
